Yup, you got that title right!
It's the icouldnotlivewithout post.
My,owh my...
It's the end of the month already.

I am sOooo going to be broke again & again. First, my CPU makes me insane. Few hundreds were blew off just like that. Now my digi-cam is making the same problem. It's nerve wrecking, it's pissing me off! I miss taking pictures with a light weight camera but still in good quality. I am just too lazy to grab that heavy SLR camera around. Plus I have to stocked up some films & develop it after that. *sigh* Will I never stop complaining about it? Hmmm...

I am not in the mood for an outing & seriously thinking of considering the fact going somewhere without a camera? Yeah. I won't go anywhere till I get myself a digi-cam! I need one! Not until it has been fix or else I wanna get a new gadget. Aiyoh...The RMWF is getting near too.

This is not a good sign at all.

I am hoping for the best before my next trip.  Or perhaps one of my plans will have to be cancelled whether I like or not. Huhu.

Wish Me Luck Guys!
*fingers crossed*

The Philippines With Me (4)

Another backdated post.

I came to a realization that I haven't finished posting about my trip last year. I could not really tell the exact location as this was when we were on the way to Tagaytay Highlands.

Date : 25 November 2007
Location : Somewhere in the Philippines

After the visitation to the Jeepney factory back in Sarao, we headed to the road to Tagaytay. You can read my previous post here. This is the continuation.

Our Pinoy driver, told us to try one of the local product. Since it will be few hours till we reached our destination, we stopped by at Colette's.  Just another chain of Colette's you will find selling their famous buko pie. :)

Note : Pasalubong is actually something you could bring or give to someone as a gift.

Here is what in store for Colette's little corner shop. You could find various kinds of sweet and snacks on the shelves & display on the counter. Everything is nicely packed for everyone to bring home & enjoy. Plus it is locally made.

The colours caught my attention.
The sweetness add to perfection.
Suits for someone who has a sweet tooth like me!

One of the must try product our driver recommended to us earlier on.
So that is when we  bought this....
A box of buko pie.
In other words, the coconut pie.

Everyone in the family love this.
Yes, the scrumptious pie filled with coconut!
Tastes great once you take a bite, you will probably want more!
One of the best dessert in the Philippines! Siempre naman. :)

As we got ourselves something to munch , we get in back to the coach, seated & continue our journey. My back hurt so bad from sitting too long.  All I could hear is the sound of loud voices by the older generation.  Silence conquered me. I became a bit restless. The hours seems a never ending one. But still the excitement keeps me going.....

Till the next episode of 'The Philippines With Me'
Stay tuned !

As I Speak : Sabah's Harvest Festival

It's a holi, holiday!  :)
Two days to be exact.
And a longer weekend!
Yay for that!
Only for those living in Sabah, Malaysia though.

So okay,  I'm sure people living outside Malaysia wouldn't know this.  Today and tomorrow, the people of my culture, Kadazan-Dusun & Murut, will be celebrating  the Harvest Festival.  In our language, we called it Tadau Kaamatan.

As I type this, it's a Hot, hot day....
But let me tell you....
Here's a snippet about what is Kaamatan.

According to the olden days, Kaamatan is believed to be a celebration  to honour the spirits & thank them for giving a bountiful harvest. It is observed when the first full moon is seen after the rice harvest.  Ancient rites of homage to the rice spirit of Bambarayon are still performed by bobolians which is the traditional high priestess. The highlights of the event will be the Magavau, the restoration ceremony & the Unduk Ngadau ( Harvest Queen)  where the selection of the fairest maiden in each district will be held each year.

Know your culture,
Know your history well people!

I am proud to be a part of Kadazan-Dusun.
Though half of my blood is a Hainanese. :)

to everyone celebrating.....

Kotobian Tadau Tagazo do Kaamatan!
Aramai T

In other words,

Happy Harvest Festival!
Cheers !

and Happy Holidays Sabahan's!

As I Speak : 280508

The internet connection is getting pretty f*cked up these days. My owh my! It's nerve wrecking. It's getting slower as a snail. I might as well have a nap while waiting for the page to load. Nak layan YouTube pun susah lah weii. Maybe it's really congested ey?

Whatever lah. Heehe.

The time shows 11:30 p.m. Blogging here in my own room it feel so comfortable. I realize it's late . But for me, the night is still young. Yeah,  eventhough I am working tomorrow.  Sitting here while listening to some spiritual songs.  At this time of the day, it's really soothing. Singing along with my MP3's . Feed my heart & soul. I just hope I don't woke everyone up! Hee xD

Well luckily, the brothers are on school holiday! So, I won't have to worry about bugging anyone who will eventually rise early in the morning.

Oh ya....
I have developed the pictures I took with my Nikon SLR Camera already.
It's not that good compared to last time. Need to brush up my skills back. I haven't been using that camera for so long. Which is why the lighting seems pretty bad.  Will try to upload it here when I have the time. And I am missing digital camera too. Huhu. :(

And, and, and......
I just found out about a great place for a vacation here in Sabah from my sister just now. Yes, yet another one. Talk about that soon. When I say 'soon', it doesnt mean that soon aights? Haha :p

Later! :)

Outing : Lembah Impian (Valley Of Dreams)

I almost forgot about getting this posted.
So here goes as I promised. :)

About a week ago, on a beautiful Sunday....the siblings, cousins and I went for an outing in the evening. Short trip nearby the town where I lived in. Not many people knew this place existence.

Years ago, I used to imagine what is the environment inside like when my dad took us for a joyride passing through this once a family residence.  All we knew is that this place is owned by a wealthy family.  I find this place simply beautiful, very English & the country style has always been my favourite taste in archictectural.  Who would have thought with a warm, I mean real hot weather like this, people would even think about building a chimney? Hmmmm.....

But out of curiousity, my questions has been answered. No, not why they build a chimney. It is just that I can finally step in the place I wanted to be in of all these years! To look& witness  for the interior of the house itself in my own eyes! Hee xD

Lembah Impian Country Homes is just 20 minutes away from the city centre of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. For those who are planning to visit Sabah, Malaysia and those who are willing to forked out alot of cash, this might be the place to be. Nestled by the countryside, surrounded by the endless greenery. Especially recommended for people who wanted to get away from the busy city lifestyle, for once we got to smell the fresh air & breathe a little!  Don't you agree with me? Well not for me though, staying here will definitely cost me a bomb! Even with the special rate they got for a Sabahan here. Hee ;)

Owh well....
I believe pictures tells a thousand words.
Here are some not-so-good few shots that I took.
Let the pictures do the explanation....

Do you need to know more?
Click *here* for more pictures & information on Lembah Impian.

Do check this place out! You never know until you set your feet here.
A luxury at your doorstep perhaps?
You be the judge!

My Say : On a Sunday

Like yesterday, it is just an ordinary day.
The sky is not grey,  it's after all a Sunday!

There's nothing like a quiet, relaxed weekend
on my own comfort zone......

I have been watching the featured videos on MTV Philippines website these past 2days. I am an official member na ngayon. Since I have been having difficulty to sign-up to become a member at, I chose to be  a member in MTV Philippines instead. Just wanted to win some free stuffs. Who knows I'm lucky enough right? Hee ;)

"Gusto ko MTV araw-araw!"
As the MTV Philippines tag-line said.
I would say,
it makes me masaya,
Bakit hindi diba?"

As I Speak : Run Away

I have been skipping updates on this blog for 2 or 3 times already. The reason was? Not having a proper time to really sit down and pour out the words from this exhausted brain of mine. No kidding. All I can think of is hit the bed and send me to la la land. Plus, the digital camera has decided to go challenge my patience. I just think it need to be fix soon or else I need to forked out some money to buy a new one. No pictures of places, camwhoring for now. *sigh* This wouldn't do me any better.

Anyhow, yesterday....My elder sister, my cousins BabyV & Alfieboy and I went for a dinner at the newly opened outlet of The Hut in CityMall. The girls ordered a set dinner each while bro cuzzy stick to having his Thai Mango Fish with Rice. I wish I could show you guys the food. :(

As for today, I'll be busy away again for another engagement party.
No,not mine. Another cousin but this time on my mother's side.

I have this mixed feelings at this moment.  I don't like to be questioned.  Particularly, on that THAT question.  Yes, THAT.  Think it's easy? Not. It's complicated.

I hate to rushed but
I've got to run...

The Red Devil in Me

You know what makes my day TODAY?

*screams excitedly*

sorry Chelsea fans,
i just had to.

*evil grin*

United: Kings of Europe!

Edwin van der Sar was the hero as United were crowned champions of Europe for the third time after a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Chelsea at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

She hardly kicks a ball.
Let alone plays a sport.
That describe me.
Anyone who knew me would certainly know that.

I know I don't pretty much watch football match anymore. Well as a kid back then I did. I feel more or less a closet fan or supporter right now. The late nights, early mornings. These days I don't even care what a television set means. Seriously.

I may seem to act as if I could not be bothered about it. But I still know what's happening a bit on the football arena.

I guess my heart is with Manchester United after all.
And the England team as well.

I have been a fan of the European football league since I was 8 or 9. Those days I would go crazy  buying those UK magazines and not forgetting the official magazine for MU. I'll spend my money just to get those posters of Ryan Giggs, Becks and yeah, I'm a big fan. Bits of piece of information I need to know.
You might be thinking....
"What? It's expensive lah!"
Yeah, I know.  It's in Pound.
Heck, I didn't even know how much that's worth back then
& thank God the currency were cheap that time.
There you go.
My explaination.

All of us had our days like that don't we?
Am sure we all do.

The David Beckham days might be gone,
but Alex Ferguson is still with the team,
plus they still have the goOd looking Cristiano Ronaldo !
(I've gotta admit C.Ronaldo is something with his football skills too! *melts*)
What is it with handsome footballers these days? Hee xD

Manchester United has definitely brings
out the little red devil spirit in me! ;)

p/s : No wonder I have too many red outfits inside my cupboard! :p

On Filipino's drama : Gulong Ng Palad

Being an Asian, I honestly cannot deny the fact that I heart watching movies or dramas in Asia regardless of any language. Yes, I love languages. And if you asked me, Tagalog is definitely the favourite one beside learning to speak my mother tongue language.

This was actually one of the Filipino drama I used to watch on  tv a few years back. When I was browsing around recently, I decided to upload it here since this is my favourite scene. I just love the whole wedding environment! A garden themed, beautiful church & traditional ways of the Filipino wedding.

Plus the songs here are absolutely amazing!
Can someone tell who the singer is?

Gulong ng Palad Wedding+ Honeymoon Scene

Starring : Kristine Hermosa & TJ Trinidad

What says you?

Romantic diba?
Excuse me but.....
I am sucker when it comes to romantic flicks!

Heehe xD

Light of Darkness

Let me say this in my own words, my thoughts. What I want to say at this moment.
Something is unfair but life's like that. When we are unsatisfied over certain things. Like simple things in life that could take charge these days. Conquered by some people. It was a decision made. The minority can't seem to overcome and beat the majority. We all needed a change. That just could not possibly happened. We all knew that.

Blinded by the darkness,
My sight sees nothing.
Come, oh come,
I welcome thee....
O thy eternal light,
Shine upon me,
Make me feel just right,
That my life could be perfect!

Sometimes I feel like a blind man,
But Praise to God for He showed me the light.
I maybe be blind, but I still have feelings.
I feel it, I keep it inside my heart.

The light of darkness lead me to somewhere I never thought I'd be....

Late night....

I just came out from the shower minutes ago. The waters freezing made me cold feet. I know it's late but what the heck. It does not even do better for my health either. Maybe I should have gone shower earlier.

The endless late nights. I think I am so used to it.  Late to bed, early to rise. That makes me looking like a racoon or a panda by now. Thank God for the invention of a make-up set, you get to cover every inch of it! Haha =p But still, I can go out without any!

The weather is not in the state of good mood.
The strong wind blew like someone's mad.
It keeps bothering my mind.
I thought I heard someone cried.

I've heard nothing but tragic incidents happening around lately.
Shutting my eyes from the coloured screens,
plug-ins some cottons on my ears so I won't hear a thing about it.
Could I?
I'm a coward.
I have fear about it. No doubt about that.

Will it be the sign of end of the world?
I guess we will never know then.....

Sunday PhotoShoot + GracePoint

Last Sunday, my sister brought me & my cousin for a photography outing in Tg. Aru beach. It was a rather unplanned outing for me but I did joined anyway. It was only a few guys from the Borneo Shutter members & us the non pro yet....the girls.  There were 2 models from the Miss Borneo event and since we can't go to the sea side because of the tide, we shoot on the grass instead!

Thank Goodness Meor & the gang were nice enough!
And I almost dropped something from my camera bag the other day if it wasn't for Meor telling me I forgot to zipped my bag! Thanks again! :)

I was so shy at first cause I was the only one using a SLR camera. Everyone was holding this big DSLR cameras with long zoom. Wow, I wish I could own one! And I had to do it the old fashioned way. With my ever trusted Nikon & not forgetting a MUST Fujifilm on hand. I hate it when the camera shops ran out of Fuji films cause I won't get a quality pictures if I were to use other brands.

Heehe XD

And after the photo shooting......

Sis, cuzzy & I headed down to Gracepoint in Sembulan for yumcha session! :)

Some of the pictures for those of you who have no idea how this place looks like especially for those of you are not from Sabah.

I still love drinking the coconut (in other langusges....kelapa or piasau or my favourite I love the word buko ) though that reminds me of something, that particular incident.  But somehow that night, the taste of the coconut drink were awful! Geez, I had no clue why at all! :(

It was fun filled day still! :)

JetStar.Com : Sponsored Ad

This is especially for those who are residing in Kuala Lumpur and those who are planning to go to Singapore. Not open for those who are residing in Sabah & Sarawak though. That's too bad for me. Heehe XD.

Mother's Day!

Since it's Mother's Day today, I would like to wish all mothers out there.....

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's what my sister and I decided to give our mother on this special celebration.
We ordered cheese cupcakes from deanacakes

Those cute mini cupcakes I love!
The designs are lovely & don't even dare to eat and touch.
It is wayyyy toO cute plus it's Home-made!

Love it! :)

It has been a long journey
Through thick and thin
You were there
You brought me into this world
To see how this earth looks like
It may not be perfect
But it is when you are around
To make me learn & experience
How is it to be a grown up lady

I could not imagine how anyone could hurt a mother's heart.....

Your sacrifices & love could never be replaced
I will walk a thousand mile stone
And take the longest route to see you smile

Cause I know you will do the same for me too!

Hugs + Kisses to My Dearest Mum !

Only words : Pouring rain & tears......

After a really hot day yesterday, I felt like soaking in tub full of iced water. Heehe.

But not for today, I was suddenly awaken by a dark morning.
I didn't even feel like getting out of the bed either. The sun wasn't even shining the whole day.
For a second, I feel like I was in a twilight zone. Yesterday it was sunshine, and today was the unpredictable rain. The day was quiet without construction. Yay for that! :)

"What a good day to sleep!"
I said to myself.

Afternoon came as I am back from work. An Indian movie had caught my eyes. I became a couch potato in an instant. I was stucked watching till the last scene. Me watching a Hindustan film? You've gotta be kidding me! I was pretty amazed myself too. So okay the story line was interesting and I definitely could not resist at all. The scene keeps making my teardrops fall everytime. I was touched & teary. No I can't deny that.

Sweet words of love. Families. Friendship. True distance relationship.
There is like a thing or two I love about this movie, I learned something. Something that makes you opened up your eyes and not forgetting your own heart too.

How can you be so heartless?
Even to your loved ones?
How can you abandon to the ones that have brought you into this world &
raise you up till you became what you are today?
If they can sacrifice for you, then why can't you?

They only need LOVE.
Yes LOVE. Is that too much to ask for?

That's when I thought to myself,
I wouldn't want to be like that kind of person.
Just because you're rich, doesn't mean you have to forget where you come from.

I appreciate my parents more.

As I Speak : Black & White Days

The days of black & white reminds me of the past.
What's left us behind. Heartaches and...
Fond memories, no, I never intend to erase it.

Hear these voice from an 80's child,
For she has always something to say,
There is no right or wrong in her dictionary,
Just an opinion what goes inside her head.

Freedom of speech, may I ?
Where do I begin?

I have never experienced a 60's tv before.
Where  flat-screen is still a no, no  existence.
Long before I was even here.

I grew up listening to Michael Jackson's song Black & White.
It was very popular back then, every little boys knows the dance routine.
The good old days journey of a child,
Pretty much where this post got inspired.

Under the roof-top I used to visit as kid, where I get excited everytime.
But not anymore. It is a sad thing that I don't have it in me.
Coz everything are destroyed in a nick of time.
You can't see it in my eyes. Though in my heart I feel it.
A cry, a pain I cleverly hide.

It's old you might say.
All I could see is the wonders of wooden carved.
It's a beautiful sight if you asked me.

Some people they just could care less.
Who they are? Where did they came from?
Do they even realize that they came from unique & exotic background?
I hope they will and still.

Is it wrong to be traditional?
How can you let go everything so beautiful?
What's past is past, but yet if it's tresurable,
It is meant to be kept & preserved.
Freshly blended on my mind,
that is what I would love to do.

These days, all we think is about modernization.
Living in a fast phase of life, sometime's makes me feel like a robot.
Are we humans anymore?

Oh my so called love and hate relationship with development!

Forgive  me but I'm not saying that future invention or development is a wrong thing but being a true Nature lover I am just pissed off! Destruction of the forest, a polluted environment & a thin ozone layer that makes me sick? Kills me!

What says you?

No? Think about it......

What's For Dinner?

Wishing that sound of Spanish or Italian music will accompany me on the dinner table.Young musicians serenading me with those lovely pieces of musical instrument & voices. Will sound way better right? Hee ;)

But all I could hear is the polluted sounds of trucks.
I hate the constuctions going on nearby my house these days.
Why did they took away my trees?
Where has the forest gone?
Too much development, Is just pathetic! :(

Since I have no idea what to blog about today,I'm going to share what I had for dinner. No grand meals served but just truly simplicity is what I need.

I drank iced La Vignetta Vinola da Tavola Rossa & ate Fried Macaroni With Vegetable, Tomato Ketchup & Chillis. Thought of having wine will be a good idea today.

A Good Imported Italian wine to quench my thirst .
Nyum,nyum :)

P/s : another short post.....apologies!

Talk About : Pete Teo

Sing a song to my ears each night, as I lay down on the bed.
My eyes are almost shut, as I am about to fall asleep beside you.
Play the songs on your guitar strings, it could touched my heart.

I've gotten to know Pete Teo existence when I first joined MySpace. But I never really listen to his songs until I found this video on Yasmin Ahmad's blog. I never knew this was a hit in Korea. And to add more, it will be one of the songs featured in 'Talentime' a Malaysian soon-to-be release movie. I think. Hee xD

I fell in love instantly.

Pete Teo
To go

[Words & Music by Pete Teo. All rights reserved 2007]

"So long, fare thee well
The dancer and the dancing days have taken leave and fell
So turn down this bed of stone
Quench me with the deadly nightshade from the rose that you belong
The long December rain is falling now
Running down on streets to nowhere
Music is my life - you're my sweetest nightingale
But I can't hear it here no more
And I go...
Hush now, don't shake or break
Words have fallen silent like soldiers to the grave
No matter what they do or say
Lay me on the sleepy meadows by the tracks upon your face"

Oh, Crab !?

Or should I say...."Oh, crap!" ?

Heehe. KIDDING ! =P

oh, Crab! Did you know that I simply adore one?
From eating the real crab to crab crackers,
I'm loving it! :)

Last Firday, I decided to cook crab for dinner.
My family pretty much love having seafood.
Dad got it while he is outstation somewhere far from town.
And when Dad brought it home, it was still alive & kicking!
Fresh from the sea....way to go!

And of course, I was not the one who kill it!
Let the pro one do it!
It's just a crab u might say, but it's harder than you think.

Like Rihanna sang,
"I don't wanna be a murderer"

Heehe xD

Anyway, since I forgot to post it earlier,
here's the crab I've cooked the other day.
Gorgeous reddish crab with tomato ketchup!
Mi Favorita! Siempre! Hee :)

Nice ey?

Sunday, 4 May 2008

I could no longer throw you a smile.
Not even a laughter or joke. Like I used to.
I am just tired. I get pissed off easily.
I am so not in the mood.

Forgive me.

Nothing can make me feel any better. Not a single person right now.
Wish there is like it used to be.

I need some cooperation.
I just need to recharge.
No, I haven't got it yet today.

What a weekend!
Got to hit the sack early tonight!

The indicator on the charger of my battery shows the red colour sign.
Better go now before it becomes even weaker.

3 Events

3 Events = A Wedding + A Reality Show Concert + An Award Show

Today I witnessed an old friend of my cousin or a distant relative of mine I would say,
a wedding between Greer & Juanis. My cousin & I got her a simple wedding gift we got last minute before going there. But still, we both hope that she will love it.

Pink & Purple around the wedding receprtion venue.
I could sense the happiness of the newly-weds.
All smiles of the multi cultures fill the surrounding.
Drinks were rise up to cheer the bride and groom.

I went home just in time for Stacy from the Akademi Fantasia reality show performance
& owh well,  to watch the others too. I was not satisfied with the person who were voted out because honestly, he is way better than the person I wanted to see out from the academy.

But what the heck,
my mind were actually more to wanting to watch AIM that time. Since everyone wanted to watch AF, I just have to bear with it. I wanted so bad to watch Rich and his band perform but failed. *sobs*

At least, I got to watch PopShuvit performed!
Yay, for that! WoOhoO!!!!!!!

It's almost mid-night and I am feeling owh-so-not in the mood for a long post again.
Power failure on my body's battery.

The 'Emperor' trailer

Okay, so I have got to admit that I am not a big fan when it comes to movies.
I am so sure people around me would knew or noticed that.
But as I stumbled upon Yuri's blog, I came across this locally made movie trailer
and decided to blog about it. The reason was, I think this has potential to be in the international market. And when it comes to supporting local acts, I know I am always here to do my part.

Who will support your own people if you don't?
Who else will?

So, go on & watch this......

By the Factory studio

In collaboration with J-Blockbuster, directed by Julianne Block and Adrian Lai with soundtrack by Yuri Wong and music score by Lim Hong Bee

As I speak : May First

May First? Or was it First of May?
The title reminds me of the fitness or health centre ad in tv pulak!
No, I'm not talking about that.Heehe xD

It feels like a Sunday,
I don't know why.

When the morning clock strucked 8 am, I dragged myself out of bed. I could woke up later than that, I know. But I didn't.The first thing I did was getting myself ready to start off the day.
Enjoying breakfast with my sister while my parents & brother has gone off to
smell the fresh air in the forest full of greenery & ponds of fishes.

I always had something to do on a holiday. I do.
When everyone is out, I do things on my own.
After finish doing my house chores, I could lay down on my bed reading magazines while listening to the mini MP4 . The not so sunny weather, windy air coming from outside of  my bedroom window has enough power to make me fall asleep.

And on the another note ....
It rained a bit in the evening, my brother looked into the sky,
we saw a rainbow as we stood by the garden.
Like the colourful days of life,
It was ever so beautiful. :)

May First, it's a Labour Day!
It's a brand new month yet again.
