Landed and safely reached the new terminal of Soekarno-Hatta International airport. As soon as we got through our bags and immigration, we were greeted by our guide and driver. They brought us to a nice place to have lunch at a restaurant nearby. A nice place to begin but my oh my, I accidentally deleted the pictures. But oh well!  Hello Jakarta,  Nice to meet you. This is my first time here and it was love at first sight.  You have that charm of your own. Skyscraper tall buildings, crowds on a highway. You are beautiful being yourself.  Traffic was really bad on the way out from Jakarta to Bandung. Too many cars in the big city. We had a few pit stop at some rest area now and then. Drinks, snacks of banana fritters and their famous tauhu sumedang along the way.  Hours drove by, with some local Indonesian and reggae songs to kill. Just few weeks before my trip to Indonesia, I get to start the month right with this. Our yearly staycation, not really far away from home.  Sunset and ocean breeze,  Makes my heart at ease. What a great beginning month of May after all the hard work :)

Mum got tickets for us to see Ron 'Bumblefoot' from one of the organizer, who is also a friend of mine. Missed the first time he was here, and we wouldn't want to miss this again.  So we were there. And the rest? Was a history. Honestly and truthfully, I haven't been to music concert/gig or any events related to it lately. But this was free and Ron is legendary. Anything for rock and roll, baby! Which undeniably, I've been a fan since I was just a little kid.  I also volunteered to be interviewed by a local press/tv station since no one was daring enough to talk about what they think about this concert on that day. What the heck did I just do? Not that easy as I thought it was. It was spontaneous. I hope it turned out to be alright.  Ron, his talent and performance was  amazing beyond words. After birthday week weekend getaway. Of conversation, food, drinks, with family and friends. And made a friend with a kitty cat. Pictures to sum up everything.   

Clock's ticking as the fun times always end too soon. Few more hours to breathe in here.  Woke up from Loco Frio's frozen cocktail slumber the night before. It was probably Bailey's and Rum. I can't recall exactly what was the concoctions but it was good.  A must try drink only in Boracay.  Packed everything, showered and ready for breakfast. Breakfast at the hotel was typical Filipino ones I like. Corned beef, egg, rice and yellow watermelon on my plate. And oh, O.J to quench the thirst! Happy me, happy tummy! :) We had another day to enjoy till sunset before going back to Kalibo.  Puffy clouds, sun shines, crystal clear waters and white sandy beach makes a happy feet. It's amazing I am no longer allergic to sands. Or maybe just this beach? Pero siempre a beautiful morning to begin with.
