Here comes Syawal

The day is over. The Ramadhan month has ended for the Muslims. That is when Syawal comes along. No more food bazaar during evenings before breaking fast. Time for a celebration after fasting for almost a month.

I might not fast or anything but....
Being Malaysian & part of my relatives are Muslim, I felt the joy, festive & holiday mood every time too! Time to balik kampung and eat rendang ! And not to mention, gain some weight also. Eh, I want duit raya can? Hee :)

Yes guys! The band Estranged from Malaysia will be releasing their much awaited second album on the 13th of October 2008. There will be 13 tracks altogether including their upcoming single, 'Aurora' . There will be both Malay & English tracks. Mark down your calendar now & grab your own copy when it's out in stores! Only the original ones aights? ;)

Ooh, talking about it makes me a lil wee excited . I so can't wait to purchase one for myself! Wish I could be at Starbucks on the 17th October performance in Sunway Pyramid! Sigh :( Might as well watch it on tv then. Sigh again.

Sweats flowing down my body. It is a warm night. Too warm for my liking. I am sitting down here again with opening most of the tabs layan-ing YouTube website. Waiting for my Indonesian long time favourite to finish download. I just love how the music and the poetry goes along the movie. An awesome blend put into! Perfecto combination, just the way I like it! Aha, aha! ;p

Turning my fan on, in a full swing mode.
No, I have no air-conditioning in my room just yet.
I felt like dying of the hotness. A brown sleeveless won't help much either.

As I switched to a more sentimental Spanish influenced, Filipino songs,
my voice singing to that familiar song with my not-so-fluent Tagalog language.
Part of my body want to sway to the moment. But not today, the tiredness won't allow me to.
It permits. Drained.

With Ulce Heal, the pain relieving gel for my mouth ulcer, I can now go to bed without having my lips too dry. Hope to see a better result tomorrow.

My Sunday Most Important Meal

Was having a lazy Sunday as usual and I decided to make this for breakfast today. Just when I thought I had enough of posting pictures of food, here I am doing so.

I could never go out with skipping the most important meal of the day,
Yesh, My breakfast.
Being Asian, I don't mind having a slight
heavy one to start of my day.

I absolutely heart eating IndoMi instant noodle with imported Vienna sausages
& mint leaves freshly picked from my mum's garden!
And to top with all that a generous amount of Thai chilli sauce will do.
Heehe :)

Day trip Nexus Karambunai

Having about six kilometres of white sandy beach,
Nexus Resort Karambunai
is an ideal getaway
for those who wanted some time off from work and
enjoy the whole beautiful scenery.

On one Sunday weekend, my sisters & I came here again just for fun! :)

And personally, I would say that this place is one of my favourite out-of-the-town resort location. The right spot, Perfect ! Unlike any other nearer to the town. I think a band who frequently went here to stay every time they performed in Kota Kinabalu would agree with me on this. Right guys? Heehe ;p (The band will not be named for privacy purpose)

Overlooking the white sandy beach & blue sky,
I could feel like the air whispers through my ears.

Not a strong one, but just enough to make me captivated.

Relaxing, my feet on a comfortable pair of flip flops.
The chiffon on my skirts flowing making move from the lil windy effects.

To the world I'm smiling. I could not help it, just could not resist.

Under the shady trees, squatting and making myself comfortable. My mind is at peace while the air blew my pony-tailed hair. I might as well do some yoga session there. And I feel like lying down on the grass. Still.

While walking slowly past the club house, I spotted this.

Just outside, a pink little bicycle. The four-wheeled toy somehow reminds me how a little girl learns her first bicycle ride. On how hard it is for her to finally released the extra 2 tires. Paddling with confidence, she made it. I wish I had a pink one at my age. I've got a red bicycle by the way! :)

Currently....

Hey there! :)

I'm here again. Haven't been updating that much did I? Heehe ;p

I have been constantly busy around. Life's ordinary. Nothing exciting anymore. Just plain & boring. Typical. Boohoo. What to do, guess that's life. Welcome back to reality. Huhu.

I was not feeling well the whole day on Sunday. Haven't been sick that much. I had to stay in bed. I didn't have the appetite to eat till today. Which in another way is a good thing for me as I'm trying to shed out my pounding weight. I honestly think I really need to workout. Seriously, Help Me! Haha ;p

And just so everyone know, something got me really distracted to update my blog. I have been browsing & going through updates on online boutique and international fashion blogs. Yes, I've got really addicted at it. Just a peek though. The same situation where you went window shopping at malls but I still prefer doing it at home, my comfort zone. At least I can control myself from buying. I am proud of myself cause yeah, I could resist and not have a hole in my pocket after that.

Oh, well....I guess I won't be updating that often, frequent anymore.
Going to let things a real slow, go with the flow,
and see where the phase of life leads me.

Insecured & A Bday Wish

Something got me a bit insecure since that scary incident happened. As matter of fact, it got me worried like hell ! Thinking about it makes me don't even want to go to sleep at night. There are like millions of what ifs on my mind at this particular moment. I just hope and pray that each everyone & everything will be guarded safe and nothing will do harm under His hands. I believe God's protection for us.

I was feeling tired from all the lack of sleep last night.
But I managed to get hold of it and dragged my ass off to work this morning.
Lazy Saturdays! Wishing that no working day on a Saturday still.
Hot busy day today.

Garden on A Monday

The garden at my home.

Green, green grass on top of my hill. No longer long & not well maintained. My eyes sees the breath taking view, not perfect but better than the polluted side of the world. Sometimes it seems that the grass is greener but the fact is it's the usual green. I guess I'm always in love with the greens. And I am a nature lover too! ;)

The murderer, scorching sun kills me.
I could feel my fair skin being burnt.
Sweats wet me up.
It was indeed hot but still not complaining though! ;p

I have been spending half of my Monday helping mum with her garden. Throwing away those unwanted grass & dried leafs inside the pot. Getting rid the ones that could destroy the plants and not to mention making it lack of nutrients.

It is somehow a rare thing for me to do this.
Gardening, getting sweaty & all.
A good exercise on the evenings, weekends
I wish I could do it often.

No, I don't have green hands as the Incredible Hulk does. I am not into gardening either.
But I can always say that I do enjoy doing it.

Yesterday, I'm gardening with love.
Something I haven't done in awhile.
