Sunday hike with siblings

Image
Sweats and muscle cramps, I'm not as fit as I am used to be.  I am not sure if I am willing to do this. At one point, I felt like giving up. Keep telling myself that I need my confidence to do this. I want to fulfill this one thing off my bucket list. I need to make the point to at least tick off one or two in a year. Sacrifices need to be done in order to get what I want.  *do that L.Gaga dance* With a view like this? I am more determined. Wish me luck! ;) Recovery meal at Fook Lim : Mixed beehoon soup Owh yeah! Not as good but I was hungry as hell :p

First day of Chinese New Year 2013

Image
Went to Beverly Hill's in Bundusan to search for breakfast but most of the coffee shops were closed. We didn't want a typical 'mamak' breakfast so we decided to have my favourite Filipino breakfast. *inserts biggest smile*  Straight to 'Tambayan Kainang Filipino'.... I would have opt for Mango Juice if we didn't went for breakfast. I chose warm Lipton Tea as my drink for my dose of caffeine instead. Sleepeehhh! Bamboo filled decor makes me miss the Philippines for real. Lovely morning to hear Tagalog conversations while having my Pancit Bihon and Longganisa. Thoughts of San Miguel Light have a sudden popped up on my mind, but it's too early to have one. Geez. This couldn't be. Hahaha! :D Since my brother had some mini steamboat with friends in the afternoon, I think we should continue for the night. So yeah, dinner outside at our very own front yard was superb. :) Good night!

Chinese New Year Eve at Gramp's place

Image
Missing Elsa and Nash, Elmer, Isaiah, Adrian  and Mr & Mrs. Marsh's lil' family in Netherlands.  The traditional reunion dinner which I look forward to is here again. Prayers to start before the dinner. A wide spread, variety of food to welcome the Lunar New Year.  We were having a buffet of our own. A Chinese New Year is not one without little fire crackers and kids making noises, jumping around. Things can get a little bit hard to handle. While the others still munching on goodies, karaokes and 'ang pau' giving were taking place. And to think that I'm the only one love Gaga-ing on karaoke. Think again, Eudora. My little cousin and niece is going to take my place someday. Kids these days.  Tsk, tsk, tsk....................

Venue : MayFlower Restaurant, Bundusan While at the party... Look who came to play with me?  Almost everything Pink! Except it's a toddler boy's birthday party  but I'm just in the mood for some girly shade tonight.  :p What's Pink : Table Cloth, Balloon, my Kate Spade New York handbag   This is what happened when you're a big eater. Can't deny I eat like a man. Which is very BAD.  Food to satisfy my hunger pangs. Oh my! :p

Eat healthy, we like!

(Backdated blog post) Sunday evening the siblings opted for our favourite and a something healthy. What else but Japanese food for dinner. We were walking around in 1Borneo Hypermall and decided to have it in Sushi King. If you've been folowing my blog, you will know how much we love going for Japanese instead on Korean. Would really love to try what's it like the Japanese food in another country and of course hopefully Japan someday. Without much saying, just like to share what we had on that day. My nyummy Salmon + Egg and Rice. It was not a raw salmon though. Different from what I usually had. It's deep fried. I still prefer the raw one. Personally speaking, I did not quite like the taste of those takoyaki balls compared to the ones selling at the stalls in some shopping malls we had. I was not the only one. My siblings are not quite fond of it as well. Chuka kurage , one of those kind of Japanese meal that will always be on my list. So if you want to buy me dinner, I...

Tanamera, tana, tana....

Tanamera night out with cousins and siblings. Same shop, at the same table and chairs. (Did I forgot to mention at the same spot? Hee :D ) Exactly. But this time without laptops. Just mobile phones. Forgive me for not having a single photo or two. Was so hungry I could eat a cow. Chicken chop rice for me and even ate lok lok together with the others. The dim sum next door was even more tempting. Yeah, I told you I was starving, did I? Love yumcha sessions like this. Oh my goodness, I am just so Chinese. But it could ruin something. There goes my diet. Yikes! :P

My story, in a week

Exactly one week ago, last weekend, our the Red Shoes company went for our first flea market in Megalong. It was a bit tiring and not that organize but the experience we had were priceless! Not only as a team but a family, we cherished every moment we had from first till the last customer of the day. Loved ones and close friends were very supportive and even drop by just to see how we were. I truly appreciate the thought. Could not asked for more. It made my day. I am sure the rest as well. All of those endless effort and togetherness was worth it. This week, it's the TRS resting week, time flies quicker than I want it to be. Had a busy & rough starter of the week at my day job. Good for me though. At least I got to distract my mind a bit. It's fine. No worries. Something, something, something. After 3 years of blogging, it's better not to kiss and tell about it. :) And just... Last night, my sister just turned our house into a chocolate factory. I can hear that 'W...

18 August 2010

Morning had a lil sunshine. A bit gloomy till the evening. But it doesn't make me. I wonder why. I just had to wake up from a dream where it's impossible for me to be a lead actress in it. Tonight. One topic. Laughters and reminiscene. It seems like we were all in one place. Together. Loved ones on conversation through a social networking. This is rare. But sweet none the less. :)

Daddy's Sunday :)

Wow, how it's been friggin' extra hot today. They don't call Sunday for nothing, don't they? ;) Not that I'm complaining as I get to greet this morning, " Hey,sunshiny Sunshine! " Those somehow kind of remind me of something. I miss that. Ah, wished it never ended. Oh well, oh well! Moving on... What a beautiful Sunday morning! Started off the day going for Sunday mass and thereafter breakfast with the family. Typical yeah, but it was a nice one to begin to celebrate Father's day. Bonding & Relaxing time. It was meant to be meaningful and spent the rest of the doing nothing at home. And so far, I finished watching two Tagalog movie without sub-titles this weekend. I think I'm getting better at this. And you know what else I love about weekend? Pampering myself with facial clay mask! Heehe. Super bliss! :D All in all, Father's Day this year was simple but I got to treat daddy a movie with brother an advance gift last week coz I thought it w...

Road Trip Sunday, it was last minute!

Image
Follow my blog with bloglovin Unfamiliar. Well for a moment, I thought we've never met. Still I greet it with a smile. "Hey Stranger, it seems ages ago!" And it may be rare for me saying this right now that stranger was you, the road less taken and travelled. Gunung Emas, Keningau and Tambunan, where you used to be a close friend during my childhood days. Cause you see, we don't quite do this as often anymore. Packed with nothing but a bag full of nonsense and compact camera in my hand, and did I forgot to mention some lil bit of snacks and tidbits, and crazy family laughter along the way too? I was over-joyed! I can finally feel the excitement once more. I mean who would have thought we would do a road trip again after so long. I was umm, acting a little bit childish, I could jumped up so high! It was rather last minute but everyone was so game for it! Oh yeah, my family is that adventurous! :) Unexpected. We found a new place to explore! Cause it was not even in o...

Mother's Day Dinner at Colossus Cafe & Bar

Image
Am I that late to post this up? My bad! I'm trying to catch up. Sorry! ************************** My family actually wanted to celebrate an early Mother's day at 'Masarap' , but since the place was full that night, we ended up not having Filipino cuisine but something different at Colossus Cafe & Bar. Cozy night and bonding time with the family which I love! :) I really think we should order more beers next time, Dad! Okay I kid! Hahahaha :p Some random photos of the night. It was a pleasant night as we got entertaint by the owners, our close friends. Next time around, I predict I'll be singing there as I've heard about them installing a karaoke set already! Wheee! Heehe :D

Last Wednesday, my family and I celebrated mum's and grandpa's birthday at Ocean Seafood Restaurant. We had so much food on the table, I swear that was the day I got so bloated. I didn't even ate rice! Since I am just too lazy and well having a really bad cough & sore throat kills me, here's a some pictures to share what happened that day. (Note: Food Pictures below! If you're HUNGRY, DO NOT PROCEED! You have been warned! Hahaha :p ) Seated at a typical chinese table with the tea and chopsticks. Love that purple table cloth! :) Family members waiting to eat.... Assorted Dishes in a Plate But my favourite will have to be the jellyfish! :) Soup of the Day Fish With Turmeric Sauce and the Crab plate at the other side Some kind of seafood cooked with ginger Prawns cooked in two different ways The Birthday Cake The Kids get really excited when it comes to cake and candles! :D My adorable niece and cousin, Madeline & Ayra Grace
