This is actually a continuation from the blog post here . Allow me to give you a lil' tour on what's going on that night with my Rockzone pass I won from our local radio station, KK's Era.fm 102.4fm. Was a bit late and missed out Adira's performance. But thank goodness, I got the Rockzone area just time to watch The Ariez . Some misunderstanding happened at the venue but I wouldn't want to comment much about it. Hope it won't happened again in the future. Thank you very much. Despite the muddy venue, I am glad I managed to take pictures of The Ariez love while they were performing. That is all that matters to me. I have been to their shows previously but so far, I have to say how much I enjoy their performance & it is one of the best. That day, they were complete as in a band, everyone was there. Event/Happening : Press Conference + Meet & Greet Session Date : 11 June 2011 Time : Before the 'Konsert ERA KK/ MegaKarnival Sazarize' Venue: Bubble Bar & Restaurant, Grand Borneo Hotel, 1Borneo Hyper mall That day, it excites me when The Ariez's manager told me that she has one more exclusive pass for me. Thank you sis, it meant so much to me! ♥ Had the opportunity to attend the press conference with our local Sabahan band, The Ariez and meet the rest of those performers up,close & personal. Among artistes that were there including The Ariez, Estranged (Hanafi & Din), Ramli Sarip, Adira, P.O.P, Fabolous Cat and more. Fans get to meet their favourite artists, take pictures & a signed giant poster as well. I absolutely love it I get to hang-out more with the guys from The Ariez instead of just see them perform and take photographs. Few hours gone, the anticipation and what's beyond the excitement is finally here. Every single thing was made to perfection. The title, the song, the rhythm , the beat and now this music video. I feel this song man. The lyrics makes me feel how blessed I am to be where I am, to be born here. I don't know how do I explain this but it's different. It's another gloomy day but I'll let it pass by slowly. ********************* I suddenly realize what day is today. It is the VIMA 2008 , Malaysia's First Independent Music Awards. Geez, how time flies! Since I don't get the chance to become a spectator to the VIMA's and I was eager to know the results already, I decided to send an SMS to DinotheDrummer. Turns out, he texted me back saying that they were not going to win. I did not replied. Two hours later, he told me that they had just actually won one of the nomination Best Genre Bender category! EDIT : And 3rd place for Best Rock Song! WoOhOooooo! Makes my day! :) As I've told DinotheDrummer, " See told you that you guys gonna win ! " ;p It was great to hear about the winning as I have been constantly voting on the net. Yes, I did it on a daily basis. Heehe *shy* And not to mention votes for Yuri Wong the ex member of FrequencyCannon as well. I wonder if he had won any award tonight? Hmmm......

Months back, I've entered an online contest by 4play.com.my for Estranged's Remain Unknown Album. Since they required a logo design for the contest, I've decided to send my old hand drawn Estranged logo which I've had for like ages already. My winning entry! ;) I was sO happy when they announced the winners for the month of October! I even texted AndytheDrummer on the phone that I've won...heehe ;p And Rich wish me luck too! ;pp I have never expected to win but wanting an autographed cd again I got the guts to try my luck anyway. Finally delivered to my office 2 weeks ago and just today I've got to open it. I just got a message from Yvonne the other day. She reminded me about the Anugerah Era '07. Which I have totally forgotten about! Thank God I've got no plans this Saturday. It was 9 something at night but guess what? He did'nt picked up my call. Okay, so I understand. Maybe he was busy or something. I should have called earlier, I wanted to but hmmm I was busy the whole day and I was at City Mall's Giant doing some grocery shopping. Busy huh? Kunun!!! Sempat lagi chatting with Dino before that..haha! My Super Moleman who just came back from his Saturday weekend in PD playing drums for his brother's band, PoP SHuvit....Kesiannyer! Must be tired until he slept for the whole day hehehe ;) Anyhow, back to the story, I finally called him at 10 something and managed to wished him on the phone! He was at his friends hse celebrating his birthday pulak, no wonder lah! I hope you realize I call (which Im sure you did, coz u did my mentioned my name...haha) coz you said you were drunk!
