Remember when I mentioned this day last April? Well, my friends from the band Frequency Cannon have released their new music video 'Rise Above' few days back. Yes, the one where we got to preview before everyone else. *Throws a big grin as usual* I have been waiting impatiently and now the wait is over. Like finally! In my opinion, SamtheProducer did a job well done on this. Big thumbs up! :) And while I go excitedly adding this into my favourite folder, may I introduce you the 1st music video featuring FC's new band member guitarist, Keng, who I have not actually met in person yet. I hope soon. *Fingers crossed* Meanwhile, enjoy this video! ;)

It's another gloomy day but I'll let it pass by slowly. ********************* I suddenly realize what day is today. It is the VIMA 2008 , Malaysia's First Independent Music Awards. Geez, how time flies! Since I don't get the chance to become a spectator to the VIMA's and I was eager to know the results already, I decided to send an SMS to DinotheDrummer. Turns out, he texted me back saying that they were not going to win. I did not replied. Two hours later, he told me that they had just actually won one of the nomination Best Genre Bender category! EDIT : And 3rd place for Best Rock Song! WoOhOooooo! Makes my day! :) As I've told DinotheDrummer, " See told you that you guys gonna win ! " ;p It was great to hear about the winning as I have been constantly voting on the net. Yes, I did it on a daily basis. Heehe *shy* And not to mention votes for Yuri Wong the ex member of FrequencyCannon as well. I wonder if he had won any award tonight? Hmmm......

I've been listening to a local english band called Frequency Cannon songs since I've got to know the drummer, Azril Dino from MySpace a couple of months ago...back then, I never knew who he was. I just tot that he's some guy who got a band and is so into music. But after a while I got to know that he's actually Andy's elder brotherlah! You know Andy? The drummer from Estranged bah! Hehe :) Andy & Dino the 2 drummers I love! Hehe ;) The band, FCannon were the Grand Champion for the 1st season of Hitz.Tv's BLast Off pulak! Of course I did watched Blast Off since the 1st season but didnt noticed that this guy is actually the drummer from Frequency Cannon...what the? We chatted on msn frequently and until a few chats then I got to know more about him & figured out he is one of the 3 talented drummers...I tot dat these guys (FCannon) were supposed to have an album by then but to my suprised, a BiG NO, NO.. What toOk u guys sO LONG? I mean they actually have ...
