icouldnotlivewithout

Yup, you got that title right! It's the icouldnotlivewithout post.   My,owh my... It's the end of the month already. And...... I am sOooo going to be broke again & again. First, my CPU makes me insane. Few hundreds were blew off just like that. Now my digi-cam is making the same problem. It's nerve wrecking, it's pissing me off! I miss taking pictures with a light weight camera but still in good quality. I am just too lazy to grab that heavy SLR camera around. Plus I have to stocked up some films & develop it after that. *sigh* Will I never stop complaining about it? Hmmm... I am not in the mood for an outing & seriously thinking of considering the fact going somewhere without a camera? Yeah. I won't go anywhere till I get myself a digi-cam! I need one! Not until it has been fix or else I wanna get a new gadget. Aiyoh...The RMWF is getting near too.  This is not a good sign at all. I am hoping for the best before my next trip.  Or perhaps one of my plan...

The Philippines With Me (4)

Another backdated post. I came to a realization that I haven't finished posting about my trip last year. I could not really tell the exact location as this was when we were on the way to Tagaytay Highlands. Date : 25 November 2007 Location : Somewhere in the Philippines After the visitation to the Jeepney factory back in Sarao, we headed to the road to Tagaytay. You can read my previous post here . This is the continuation. Our Pinoy driver, told us to try one of the local product. Since it will be few hours till we reached our destination, we stopped by at Colette's.  Just another chain of Colette's you will find selling their famous buko pie. :) Note : Pasalubong is actually something you could bring or give to someone as a gift. Here is what in store for Colette's little corner shop. You could find various kinds of sweet and snacks on the shelves & display on the counter. Everything is nicely packed for everyone to bring home & enjoy. Plus it is locally mad...

As I Speak : Sabah's Harvest Festival

It's a holi, holiday!  :) Two days to be exact. And a longer weekend! Yay for that! Only for those living in Sabah, Malaysia though. So okay,  I'm sure people living outside Malaysia wouldn't know this.  Today and tomorrow, the people of my culture, Kadazan-Dusun & Murut , will be celebrating  the Harvest Festival.  In our language, we called it Tadau Kaamatan .   As I type this, it's a Hot, hot day.... But let me tell you.... Here's a snippet about what is Kaamatan. According to the olden days, Kaamatan is believed to be a celebration  to honour the spirits & thank them for giving a bountiful harvest. It is observed when the first full moon is seen after the rice harvest.  Ancient rites of homage to the rice spirit of Bambarayon are still performed by bobolians which is the traditional high priestess. The highlights of the event will be the Magavau , the restoration ceremony & the Unduk Ngadau ( Harvest Queen)  where the selection of the fairest m...

The internet connection is getting pretty f*cked up these days. My owh my! It's nerve wrecking. It's getting slower as a snail. I might as well have a nap while waiting for the page to load. Nak layan YouTube pun susah lah weii.  Maybe it's really congested ey?  Whatever lah . Heehe. The time shows 11:30 p.m. Blogging here in my own room it feel so comfortable. I realize it's late . But for me, the night is still young. Yeah,  eventhough I am working tomorrow.  Sitting here while listening to some spiritual songs.  At this time of the day, it's really soothing. Singing along with my MP3's . Feed my heart & soul. I just hope I don't woke everyone up! Hee xD Well luckily, the brothers are on school holiday! So, I won't have to worry about bugging anyone who will eventually rise early in the morning. Oh ya.... I have developed the pictures I took with my Nikon SLR Camera already. It's not that good compared to last time. Need to brush up my skill...

Outing : Lembah Impian (Valley Of Dreams)

I almost forgot about getting this posted. So here goes as I promised. :) About a week ago, on a beautiful Sunday....the siblings, cousins and I went for an outing in the evening. Short trip nearby the town where I lived in. Not many people knew this place existence. Years ago, I used to imagine what is the environment inside like when my dad took us for a joyride passing through this once a family residence.  All we knew is that this place is owned by a wealthy family.  I find this place simply beautiful, very English & the country style has always been my favourite taste in archictectural.  Who would have thought with a warm, I mean real hot weather like this, people would even think about building a chimney? Hmmmm..... But out of curiousity, my questions has been answered. No, not why they build a chimney. It is just that I can finally step in the place I wanted to be in of all these years! To look& witness  for the interior of the house itself in my own eyes! Hee xD Lembah ...
